Fabrication
Drapery are to be French Pleated (a three fold pleat),
straight needled and bat tacked 1/2" from bottom
of buckram using a #25 monofilament thread. Standard fullness
will be 250%, with 7 pleats per 54" width of fabric.
Construction elements to include a 4" washable buckram
in the heading, a doubled 1 1/2" side hem, and 4"
doubled bottom hem, blind stitched. Widths of face fabric
to be overlocked using true safety stitches, pattern matched,
pleat marked and seams to be hidden behind the pleats.
Widths of lining fabric to be overlocked using a true
safety stitch, turned over and single needled to prevent
light leakage, attached at header at side hems, and the
finished length to be approximately 1 1/2" above
face bottom hem. A 3/4" square, fabric covered weight
to be sewn into each seam and corner of face fabric. All
drapery widths will be tabled and be fabricated to finish
1/2" AFF. All overlaps will be made to the industry
standard of 3 1/2", be punched with grommets and
have Kirsch style #94145 overlap stiffener sewn into the
heading at the overlap, to accommodate a bolt-thru baton.

All fabrics will meet or exceed NFPA 701 for Flame Retardancy.

Hardware
Only Kirsch style #94373 assembled rod sets will be used,
unless otherwise requested. The track will be electro-statically
painted white. Batons will be either 30" or 36"
in length, depending upon finished length of drapery.
Track may be mounted onto the wall or into the ceiling,
depending upon building configuration and site survey.
